We went the last day of July and the Oil Derrick was open so we went up. I don’t even remember going as a kid, so it was pretty neat. There was a nice breeze up there which we needed that day. 🥵 I hope they do later operating hours, especially with the heat we have. It is just too hot to go right now.

Last year at the amiptheater during fright fest, they were playing live music dressed in spooky steampunk style with covers of Queen and Aerosmith while we were queueing for and riding Dr Diabolical. It was really special and reminded me of experiences you usually only get at Disney or Universal parks

I would think unearthed would go in Curse of Ra’s spot to use some of the underground/cave themed decorations. Saw would probably go in Art of Torture’s spot for the same reason. I have a feeling The Conjuring and maybe Texas Chainsaw will go in that building by Gotham and Trick R Treat will be in that new tent accompanied by the scare zone over there by pirates

So many summers in 2000-2006 of going to Six Flags all day and then heading to the Rangers game that same night. So much fun.

Some of my earliest memories as a kid are from Six Flags in the mid-late 90s. Fright Fest and Holiday in the Park specifically. Man I loved this video.

While it's great the park has a lot of activity, I kinda feel like the dc universe thing was a mistake. It ate up too much of rockville and spassburg. They should have just combined rockville and dc universe into a single themed area, and reexpanded spassburg. Think smallville high lol.
